Dresden Maroon Vs Petrolia Oilers
Atom Maroons played a great game on the weekend coming away with a 4-4 tie against a strong Petrolia squad. The game was a nail biter going back and forth, end to end. Solid goaltending from both clubs to say the least!!! 4-3 Petrolia in the third period, Adam "the machine" Smith had provided a small smidgeon of offense for the Maroons only scoring All 3 of our goals (lol). Then it was Kyle "keke" "farmer" Ross' time to display some sweet mitts in front of of the net and provide the Maroons with the game tier, with just over 5 min remaining. Maroons would then score another with only seconds left in the game, only for a controversial "net off" call saw it taken away.
Great game and effort by all the kids in this excellent and very exciting game!!! Maroons are a great group of kids and should be proud of the way they handle themselves, in all of the different situations they have came across this season. Your parents and coaches are very proud of you all!!!!!
