Dresden Peewee Maroon at Southkent Lightning
What an exciting game this past Saturday in Blenheim.
The Southkent team jumped out to an early lead before the Dresden squad found their legs. It was a back and forth game as Southkent lead 3-1 after the first. Dresden came out flying in the second to quickly tie the game. The teams went into the third period tied at 4 before Dresden grabbed the lead in the third period. The Dresden squad kept skating through the third and was able to keep enough pressure on the Southkent squad to hold on for the 6-5 victory.
Dante got the Dresden squad on the board to start the Dresden charge. Dante also scored mid way through the second to finish the game with 2 goals. Cam lead the way for the Dresden team picking up the hat trick. Kaiden had a goal and a post late in the third. Nolan finished with 2 assists. I think their were a few unaccredited assists, but who is counting. Cole slammed the door closed late in the game when the Southkent team pulled their goalie. Good game by all the boys!
