WELCOME BACK.....
Welcome back players,parents,siblings to 2014-2105 Hockey Season. We had a great
start to our season and I know it's going to continue to be a great season..
Erin Handsor and Jill Misselbrook will be your parent managers again this year.
Coach Cutch and his coaching team as well as Erin and Jill believe that to build a great team it is very important for players, parents and siblings to bond off the ice as well as on. We are going to have a great year of hockey and we are going have fun together off the ice as well.
Welcome Daniel Vrabel and his parents to Dresden Minor Hockey, we are happy to have you join our team.
VERY IMPORTANT....
There is one player Jacob Robinson who has a peanut allergy, so please if you are bringing snacks to the change room please DO NOT BRING ANYTHING THAT CONTAINS PEANUTS..
NAME BARS
We are planning to put name bars on the Jerseys again this year. If anyone does not have a name bar, they cost $7.50 or 2 for $14.00, they can be done at Screen Craft in Chatham.
If we have a large number that need them please let us know and we can get them done.
Everyone needs 2 (one for each jersey, away and home).
UPCOMING EVENTS
Team pictures Thursday October 2 at 6:10pm
New Hockey Clothing will start to be on sale Sept 30- Oct 2 during picture nights.
Gift Baskets- we will be taking a collection for the gift basket, probably around $15.00. We will start collecting for this on Saturday, to allow time to collect for the basket. If anyone has any ideas or would like to volunteer to purchase the items for the basket please let us know.
We also need 2 volunteers to bring 1 dozen cookies or 1 dozen cupcakes.
The team will be asked to volunteer some time, if we fill out all our volunteer slots, we will get back half of the tournament fee. This we use to put together for another tournament. More details at a later date.
We are already looking at possible tournaments in February or beginning of March. We will send out a list at a later date.
Please do not forget to complete the respect in sports course. We cannot compete in any tournaments or playoffs if this is not done.

We would like to plan an outing for our hockey family this October. Let us know if who would be interested in a Haunted Halloween bus ride at Reapers Realm!! More to come on this...
