The Big Chill
Our Atom Rep team traveled to Michigan this past weekend for our first tournament of the season "The Big Chill" in Ann Arbor area, Michigan.
We won our first 3 games which took us to the semi-final game that we played at Yost Arena where the University of Michigan Hockey Team plays. It was a very exciting game for the boys, which also ended in a win against Chicago.
After 4 straight wins to get to the finals, our Jr Kings couldn't pull off the win over a strong "Select" Florida team.
Players of the games were- Tyler June, Sage Deneau, Beau Depencier, Blake Stevens, and Cameron Jackson for the Championship game
Although we did not bring back the Championship Banner and Gold medals to Dresden, we came back with beautiful Silver Medals and a lot of pride. We grew as teammates, our passing and team play peaked, and the memories of the weekend will remain for a lifetime. We gave those Americans a great run, they will for sure remember our Canadian team.
